First Real Snow!

I got some pictures of our first real snow of the season, can't wait to go out and play in it in the morning.

The Stairs

Spencer has learned to climb the stairs. We got another baby gate last night that Eric is going to put up today.

Zachary and Abby

Zach loves Abby. He's been laying in the dog bed with her alot lately. I caught this one this morning. He's using her as a pillow while he watches Blue's Clues. She loves him to pet her and rub her ears.

First Snow (kinda)

We had our first snow last night. Well, it snowed on the foothills really nicely but we only had a spec on the ground this morning. It just lightly dusted and remained on the roof and car, melted everywhere else. Hopefully we'll get a nice snow soon... make all this cold weather worth it.

BTW, the photo above was taken out of our living room window -- not a bad view to wake up to.

Christmas Lights

Eric has been busy putting up Christmas lights. I think he might have gone a bit overboard but it sure does feel like the Holidays now. Can't wait to get our tree now.

Halloween!

Spencer was a doggie. Eric wrapped him up in his jacket and he immediately fell asleep. He looked so cute though.


Zachary was Woody from Toy Story. It was real cold so we had to put his jacket on under his costume. As usual, he wouldn't let us take his photo with Cora and Jacob. He loved trick-or-treating though. I wish I had some photos of him going up to houses... he was pushing the door bells and really getting into it.


Here the boys are as we're leaving John and Macie's to go trick-or-treatin. It was in the 30's and was 22 degrees when we got home... Brrrrrr....

Spencer (video)

Spencer is getting so much better at walking. He's still falling, but everyday he gets more steps in. This is from yesterday morning.

BRRRRR!!!!

It's starting to get pretty cold here. Daytime feels like fall but in the morning it feels like winter. It's 31 degrees outside right now. Had to get the boys all bundled up this morning to go over to Grandma's. They got new coats and hats yesterday.

So Spencer is walking a bit more now. We've counted up to 10 steps at once. Zachary could walk for a while before he finally decided to let go of the furniture and venture out. Spencer is completely different. He can't walk but he's gonna try his hardest. No fear.

Spencer on the Move

Ok, I'm too busy to get the video up so here are some pics. Spencer hates to try and crawl on his knees so he tries to crawl on his feet... well, he tries to walk w/ his hands on the ground... it's very cute. He's also able to pull himself up on to things now, like the ottoman, people, crib, etc.

The Never Ending Project

I don't think we're ever going to be done w/ our yard. Eric and Scott have been busy cleaning up the rest of the flower beds. Removing weeds, edging, barking and planting for me.



I went to the Old Valley Farm Nursery yesterday. They're a local wholesale nursery that opened to the public this year. Got some awesome grasses, sedum and yarrow. Hey Mom, they take in interns from the BSU horticulture program... hint hint.



I really like how the sedum and grasses go together. I think I'll do alot more of them in the garden.
