It's been raining for the past few days. Was starting to get tired of the gray clouds. Then last night we got a light dusting of snow.
Our first snow!! We didn't actually get to see it snowing but when Eric took Mandy to the bus this morning you could see it on the car, roof, and spots in the field. It was pretty much gone by the time I woke up. You can see it in the foothills in the distance in the photo above. The mountains out the front of the house are all covered. We could see them testing the snowlift lights the other night...pretty neat.
Today it's sunny and chilly with some big poofy clouds. Without the solid cloud cover it's supposed to get down to 24 degrees tonight....burrrrr.... send hats and scarves for Christmas. I'm going to get a cup of cocoa.
